Volunteering with Langholm Initiative is a great way to support the work we do with our community.
Volunteering is the heart of our community. Many of our local organisations and enterprises just wouldn't exist without the hard work of volunteers who drive them forward. The Langholm Initiative relies on volunteers to support our projects to succeed, but we're always looking for more people to get involved!
The Information Hub
Would you like to meet people and promote Langholm?
Volunteer with us at our Information Hub on the High Street! Help visitors discover local activities, places to explore, and things to do, while supporting a welcoming community space.
No experience needed - just a willingness to help!
The Langholm Information Hub provides information about Langholm, the Tarras Valley Nature Reserve, and the surrounding area to visitors and tourists.
The Hub relies on volunteers to continue to provide this valuable information.

Fancy getting outdoors and meeting new people?
Join us on the reserve for vounteering sessions that are great for your physical and mental wellbeing.
Help with tree planting, wildlife surveys, habitat management and more!
No experience needed - everyone is welcome
