Potential funding opportunity

Langholm Initiative has been approached by the Development Trusts Association Scotland to support organisations in the community to apply for funding from the Supporting Communities Fund.

This fund was set up by Scottish Government to support the community response to Covid-19. Margaret Pool, as Chair of Langholm Initiative would like to hear from groups in the area who are delivering services during the pandemic where additional or new costs have been incurred.

Any new or extended activity must have been started no sooner than 16 March and funding will be available for a 4-6 month period. Eligible organisations will be

charities, voluntary organisations or social enterprises based in Scotland delivering services or activities in Scottish communities. Organisations must be incorporated bodies, legally constituted and have a UK bank account.
